Greenhouse Balanced has worked on carbon sequestration projects which offer other environmental services throughout Africa, and is currently working with World Vision International on its approach to its own carbon footprint and opportunities to integrate carbon sequestration and transformational development.
A key component of work in Africa is restoration of biodiverse native forests, which are most appropriate for the soils, climate and wildlife of the region. The work of Tony Rinaudo in the field of natural regeneration is the foundation of reforestation techniques.
